Using smart data to explore communities
9 December 2025, 2:00pm to 3:00pm
Parliamentary researchers are invited to join our Geographic Data Service (GeoDS) for a webinar showcasing its work.
GeoDS is the UK’s leading source of linked and georeferenced smart data. Its team focuses on connecting different types of data through geography to study important social issues, including vulnerable populations, regional inequalities, and access to opportunities.
Geographic integration reveals complex patterns through spatial analysis. Applying these techniques scientifically and ethically to smart data generates new insights into the differing circumstances of populations, guiding targeted strategies to enhance economic and environmental outcomes.
Who should attend?
Parliamentary researchers and staff.
