UKRI data infrastructure

A network of data infrastructure programmes

Every day, researchers across the country use UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) data infrastructure to answer critical questions: How can we improve educational outcomes? What factors influence healthy aging? How do we build more resilient communities?

UKRI’s network of data programmes provides secure access to rich datasets—from decades-long longitudinal studies to administrative records—enabling researchers, policymakers, and businesses to generate insights that improve lives.

This long-term investment has created a data infrastructure that powers research with real-world impact.

ADR UK

A major investment by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), ADR UK (Administrative Data Research UK) is a UK-wide partnership transforming the wealth of public sector data into research assets and policy-relevant insights. Ensuring data provided by UK government bodies is accessible to researchers in a safe and secure form. Enabling better informed policy decisions that improve lives.
