Catriona Gray

Senior Data Policy Manager 

Catriona Gray develops and manages resources for legal and responsible practice across the Smart Data Research UK programme. 

She has an academic background in the social sciences, including a PhD thesis on the governance of AI technologies (submission pending).

Before joining SDR UK, Catriona managed a portfolio of mathematical sciences investments at EPSRC. Previously, she led and taught postgraduate courses on the politics, philosophy and sociology of data and data-driven technologies at the University of Bath.
